"Nominee for Best Acting by a Female, Comedy or Drama" - Angeline Jolie in The Tourist. Golden Globes
ReplyDeleteAre you freaking kidding me? She was strong in The Changeling, but the only thing she was good at in this film is striking a profile. Yea, o.k., it's a perfect profile, but her vacuous presence left me stupefied. In fact, all the Golden Globe nominees for best female acting seem to be taking the place of truly brilliant, masterful performances by others less pop-cultured.
